Jewelled Chocolate Bark

When it comes to food, we believe that nothing should be off limits. Especially chocolate. This recipe ticks all the boxes, especially when its packed with our body boosting elixir powders and topped with our favourite superfoods.

Ingredients you will need:

1/2 cup Cacao Butter

1/2 cup Cacao Powder

1/4 cup Maple Syrup

1 TBSP DA elixir powder of choice, (we used Immune and Stress)

Topping Suggestions

Toppings are totally up to you and your flavour preferences, we’d recommend something crunchy and something sweet.

Here are some ideas:

Coconut Flakes, Hemp Seeds or Cacao Nibs

Chopped Macadamia’s, Pistachios or Hazelnuts

Goji Berries, Dried Apricots, Cranberries or Freeze Dried Berries

Putting it all Together:

Prepare a tray with a sheet of baking paper, and leave it somewhere easy to access.

Melt the cacao butter in a double boiler over low heat.

Once melted, stir in the maple syrup and cacao powder.

Remove the mix from heat and then pour onto the tray, spreading the mix evenly, about 1/2 centimetre in thickness.

Sprinkle with all the toppings you desire.

Place in the freezer until its set, then break into pieces or chop into bars.

Keep it stored in the fridge (if you don’t eat it all at once!!)
